What rep range and set range should I use to build strength? How long should I rest between sets?

You should focus on low reps, and high sets for strength.

The rep range should be from 4-6, and the sets could be anywhere from 4-6 or even more. For strength training, you should focus on less total sets than for MUSCLE GAIN.

Sets can be spread across two or three exercises, or just one.

You should rest 2-3 minute between sets, ensuring you recover maximum strength for maximum lifts.
