Should I be stretching and weight training?

Yes, they are both important.

Flexibility is extremely important for being able to go full RANGE OF MOTION during your lifts.

If you aren't performing the entire movement, you're not getting a much out of the exercise as you can be.

Stretching can also help you lift weight's easier, because you can loosen up and relieve muscle tension.
