Can I gain muscle and work on endurance at the same time?

By Scott Herman in Conditioning / Endurance Training · Published

Yes, because endurance and MUSCLE GAIN both require volume.

As you train for endurance, you deny your muscles the time you usually give them to recover between sets.

This will tear the muscle, and when you tear the muscles fibres, that is when you make gains, as your muscles recruit more fibres and rebuild bigger.

It is important to have good ENDURANCE also, because doing regular splits, sets and reps for muscle gain still requires the ability to keep up your intensity throughout your workout.
